Scale 3 Point 4 (£11.52 an hour)
Scale 1 point 1 (£10.89 an hour)
Includes midday duty for half an hour per day and half an hour lunch break.
Start date: Immediately
Fixed Term until July 2021 with the possibility to extend

We are looking to appoint a patient, caring part-timeLSAto join our small thriving primary school in the heart of Epping Forest. The role will involves supporting children in a Year One class and may include supporting children with differing SEND needs. Previous experience in this field would be desirable.
The successful applicant will be required to:
· work in small groups and 1:1 with children
· be an effective team member under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO
· show initiative and flexibility
· have the ability to build effective relationships with staff, children and parents
· have a good understanding of early literacy, communication and numeracy development
· liaise with a range of specialists
· support children with personal and medical care needs as required e.g. toileting, changing and feeding

Our pupils progress well personally through the wide range of opportunities and responsibilities we provide that develop their experiences, secure key skills, and knowledge, and encourage them to be well-rounded individuals. Pupils access a broad and engaging curriculum with an eagerness and enjoyment to learn and achieve. Our school has the capacity for approximately 90 pupils from ages 4 years to 7, who are taught by staff who are enthusiastic, energetic, and committed to their roles.

Situated right opposite Hainault forest, we like to spend lots of time outdoors and believe that learning is best when children are exploring, investigating and problem-solving within a natural, local environment. We are part of The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust of fifteen Primary and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest District. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), School Improvement Team, Well-being Service, and Resourced Provisions based in three of our schools, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest.
EFSPT was formed in 2018 from a consortium of schools that had worked together for over 20 years and are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities.
