Finance Officer

Required ASAP

20 hours per week - 9.00am - 1pm

Monday to Friday

Scale 5 Points 8-11

£20493-£21748 pro rata

The Beaulieu Park School are looking to appoint an experienced, well organised and motivated Finance Officer to join our school. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

The role will be to:

  • administer all processes (ordering, invoicing,paying/receiving, recording) in relation to routine financial transactions within the school in respect of the following funds: Public Funds, School Private Fund,
  • accurately maintain the school's financial accountingsystem in respect of routine transactions.
  • ensure that all procedures relating to routine transactions are carried out in accordance with financial regulation, good practiceand relevant statutory legislation.

Have excellent attention to details
Have the ability to prioritse work and meet strict deadlines.

Information about the School

The Beaulieu Park School is Essex’s first ‘All Through’ school and the primary phase opens for reception students in September 2018 with the secondary phase opening in September 2019. The Beaulieu Park School will welcome its first cohort of 60 reception aged children in two classes. In September 2019, 180 Year 7 students will be admitted. Year on year the school will grow, providing 420 places for local children between four and eleven years old by 2024 and 900 places for local children between 11 and 16 years old by 2023.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
