Our friendly school is looking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant.
Required as soon as possible: 7.5 hours a week at lunch-time, 38 weeks per year (term time only).
Salary: Scale 2 £18,198- £18,562 (Point 2 - Point 3) Actual Salary £3,063.37 - £3,124.64
The Role
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
· The preparation and simple cooking of food & beverages.
· Serving children at the counter/hatch or from a trolley or kiosk as required.
· Undertaking all aspects of cleaning equipment (light and heavy), walls (up to 6ft.) floors, fixtures and fittings, cooking utensils, cutlery, glassware etc. as directed.
We are looking for you if you have:
Experience of the preparation and cooking of simple food & beverages
The ability to use kitchen and cleaning equipment
The ability to complete basic forms
Good organisational skills
The ability to follow instructions
