Caretaker Required
£17,385 - £19,680 - Dependent on skills and experience
Hours 37 per week (split shift 7am-11.40am and 2.45pm-5.45pm)
Start Date: ASAP or January 2022

Harlowbury Primary School are looking to appoint a Caretaker to work in our school. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable individual who is flexible in their approach to work. You will be self-motivated, reliable, safety conscious, resourceful, energetic and keen to work as part of a successful and hardworking team.
You will take pride in the appearance of the school ensuring the highest standards of presentation at all times. The safety of pupils will be of upmost importance and you will be committed to ensuring that the school is a clean, safe, secure and welcoming environment.
Duties also include liaising with contractors and assisting the Headteacher and the governors in making decisions about the school premises.
You will be available for occasional out-of-hours work.
The successful candidate should have:
Practical basic building maintenance skills
Basic IT skills
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
The ability to work as part of a team
The ability to lead and manage a team of cleaners
Excellent organisational skills and be able to hit the ground running in your new role.
