Librarian
Salary: Band C Point 13 - 17
(£13,402.35 - £14,944.85 per annum)
25 hours per week
Monday - Friday 8:50am - 2:20pm (with 30 minute unpaid lunch)
38 weeks of the year - term time plus inset days
Start Date: Jan 2022
Thames Park Secondary School is the newest secondary school within Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. We opened our doors to our founding Year 7 pupils in September 2020 and will be increasing to five year groups by 2024. We have a strong focus on digital education running throughout our curriculum and are passionate about making our learning both exciting and memorable.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Librarian to join our school. The successful candidate will co-ordinate activities within the library, providing a comprehensive service to both pupils and staff, and implement school policy in relation to the library to achieve an efficient structured provision within the school. You will also provide support in the use of the library for research and pleasure reading, and support curriculum led activities.
These are exciting times for us and this role is central to the school's mission in providing an education which prepares pupils for the future. On the near horizon, the school will move to its brand-new purpose built state of the art facilities in September 2022.
