School Crossing Patrol Officer

Job Description

Come and support your local community by joining Essex County Council's School Crossing Patrol Team as a School Crossing Patrol Officer.

Support schools once in the morning and once in the afternoon, ensuring the safety of all pedestrians crossing the road to and from school and its surrounding locations.

We are looking for a punctual and reliable individual, who is approachable and enjoys engaging with the public.

Please note this is a part time, term time role, for 39 weeks per year. This includes an accrued holiday pay.

Exact hours are site-dependent, and will be confirmed in interview.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
