Administrator
25 hours per week - 43.7 weeks (38 weeks term time, 1 week INSET + annual leave)
09:30 to 14:30 daily
£11,307 per annum (£10.35 per hour)
We are seeking to recruit a reliable Administrator, to join our established Central Admin team.
The successful candidate will provide a confidential and efficient administrative support service to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as and when required, as well as administrative support for the school's curriculum areas. Duties include, but not limited to:
- Manage the operation of School Comms under the direction of the Senior Administrator, including the writing, production and distribution of emails, letters, and certificates;
- Responsible for the production of relevant materials, documents and reports for curriculum areas and members of the Senior Leadership Team;
- Provide day to day admin support either in person by telephone or via the service desk software to support the delivery of the curriculum and the pastoral system;
- Maintain student records both electronically and hardcopy files.
The successful candidate will have:
- Successful experience working within an administrative environment;
- Educated to Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent (including Maths and English);
- Ability to establish rapport and to maintain respectful and trusting relationships;
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills;
- Sound IT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft packages, or similar;
- Ability to complete complex returns and forms, write complex letters and reports;
- Evidence Attention to detail;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, remain calm and meet deadlines;
- Ability to use own initiative and manage own time effectively;
- Understanding of procedures and legislation relating to confidentiality;
- A good understanding of Health and Safety, safeguarding and child protection;
- A commitment to equality and diversity and inclusion.
