We are looking to appoint enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our team of staff that are committed to supporting our pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities.The successful candidates will need to have GCSE qualification grade C/level 5 or above, or equivalent, in English and maths, and the ability to deal with challenging behaviour and to motivate and encourage students. Ideally, they will also have experience in supporting autistic children.

The pay band for the role is Scale 3 (scp 4 to 5), which is £18,933 to £19,312.

The hours of work for the role will be 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be required term time, plus five staff training days (39 weeks in total).

The actual salary for the role is £12,228.26 to £12,473.05 (under 5 years' service) or £12,393.14 to £12,641.22 (over 5 years' service).

The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all young people and expects all staff to share that commitment. The successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
