Chemistry Technician

Salary: Scale 4 £16,811.68 - £17,147.95 per annum
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in one of the country's leading selective schools. Recently awarded The Sunday Times Schools Guide East Anglia State Secondary School of the Decade, we are looking to appoint a Chemistry Technician to join a welcoming and supportive School.
The successful applicant will be professional, organised and with experience of working in a specialist area in a learning environment (up to and including A Level Chemistry). Applications will also be considered from highly qualified chemists interested in training as a technician. The role focuses on support to teaching staff, particularly in the safe preparation and cleaning/clearing of lesson materials. The successful applicant will work 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday and will be required to work the academic term (39 weeks). This role is suitable for full time, or a job share.
