THE COLNE COMMUNITY SCHOOL AND COLLEGE

COVER SUPERVISOR

Pay Range: Local Government Band 5 £20,493 (Point8-11)

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

We are seeking an outstanding individual to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervise students engaged in learning activities.
• Act as a role model and set high expectations of conduct and behaviour.
• Provide objective and accurate feedback to the teacher on the conduct of the lesson.
• Keep appropriate records as agreed with the teacher.

We're looking for you if you have:

• Successful recent experience working with secondary school age children.
• Have a good general standard of education.
• Can work effectively as part of a team and contribute to group thinking, planning etc.
• Excellent communication skills with adult and children, verbally and in writing.

This post is 35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term Time, plus 5 Non-pupil days), however, we are willing to consider applications from people who are able to work fewer hours per week.
