An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Learning Support Assistant at Rettendon Primary School.
At Rettendon Primary School we strive to secure the success of our pupils by offering a stimulating and challenging curriculum that is relevant to each individual's life and children are encouraged to develop the confidence to be curious. The successful candidate will display drive and energy to support the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and class teacher in making a real difference to our flourishing school.
We are seeking to appoint a committed Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about learning and children's development.
You will have the ability to be patient, show great care and dedication to our pupils. Our pupils are looking for a passionate, calm Learning Support Assistant with a sound pedagogical knowledge related to EYFS and KS1. The successful candidate will use their wealth of knowledge to support our pupils' through 1:1s, small group work, class support and outdoor learning.
Rettendon Primary School is a small village school with mixed classes from Reception through to Year 6. With only 141 children on roll, we know every single child throughout the school and build solid relationships with our families; this community feel is what makes Rettendon a wonderful place to work.

Rettendon Primary School is a small village school in the heart of a well-established community. With 136 children on roll, the staff know each child individually; this is what makes Rettendon a great school to work in!
The children currently work in the following classes: Reception (Julia Donaldson), Year 1/2 (Vashti Harrison), Year 2/ 3 (Michael Rosen), Year 4/5 (Roald Dahl), Year 5/6 (Katherine Rundell).
