Somers Heath Primary School - Cleaners
Start date: 1st September 2021 Salary: Thurrock Band TLW/Band A £17,962 FTE, Actual £6834 (£9.31/hour) Hours: 15 Hours per week (3 hours per day 3:15 - 6:15pm) Contract: Fixed Term (1 year) until 31st August 2022 (with potential extension based on a school needs review) Location: South Ockendon, Essex
We are looking for a Cleaner - 15 hours per week, term time and non-pupil days plus 4 weeks during school holidays.
We are looking to appoint a hardworking and committed cleaner to provide after school cleaning. No experience required as training will be given to the successful applicants. Hours of work are 3.15 - 6.15pm Monday to Friday during term time and non-pupil days. In addition to this you will be required to work 4 weeks during the school holidays, specific dates to be advised by the school. Working as part of a team, the candidates must have a flexible approach to the role. Duties will include general cleaning of all areas of the school (classrooms, toilets, corridors etc). The successful applicants will be required to clean to a high standard within the allocated timescales.
