Trust Central Team -Payroll/Finance Assistant

Scale 6 Points 12-17

£22183 - £24491 Pro Rata (£17,986 - £19842pa)

30 hours per week

Monday to Friday,

52.14 weeks per year

This is an exciting opportunity for a well organised and motivated person to join our new and expanding Trust central finance team.

The Trust has recently taken on a new payroll provision and are looking for someone to manage the monthly processing of this and provide day to day support to the central team finance manager. The successful candidate should be a reliable, approachable and friendly person with excellent financial, administrative and interpersonal skills. They must be organised and able to work calmly under pressure and must have a good sense of humour. Strong communication skills both written and verbal are essential.

The successful candidate will:

- have excellent numeracy, organisational and inter-personal skills

- have an understanding of payroll processes and procedures

- have a high degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail

- be flexible and adaptable

- able to use initiative and prioritise workload

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership (CLP) is an emerging multi-academy trust based in Springfield, Chelmsford. The trust was formerly known as The Boswells Academy Trust but changed name in late 2017 to reflect the growth of the trust beyond one school. There are currently 8 schools across Essex in the CLP multi academy trust.

The schools in the CLP are: Barnes Farm Infant School, Barnes Farm Junior School, Lakelands Primary School, Perryfields Infant School, Roding Valley High School, The Beaulieu Park School, The Boswells School and The Tyrrells Primary School.
