We seek to appoint a Programme Leader of MFL who must be able to offer Spanish to GCSE Level. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational classroom practitioner who is organised and innovative and has a passion to improve learning for all students. The MFL department consists of two members of staff. This would be an ideal opportunity for aspirant candidates who wish to take up their first Middle Leader role. Training and support will be provided. Candidates must have knowledge of both the KS3 and KS4 MFL curriculum.

The Deanes is a small secondary school where each and every one of our students can feel happy, respected and known as an individual within our safe and accepting community. In September 2021 the school joined the South East Essex Academy Trust, which comprises 7 local primary and secondary schools, who form a collaborative multi academy trust.
The Deanes is well situated in South East Essex, with good links to public transport. We are situated within ten minutes of Benfleet and Rayleigh Rail Stations, where a 45 minute train journey will take you into London. There is also ample car parking onsite.
