Pastoral Lead
We are looking to appoint an individual who will provide effective leadership, support and management of a team that continually enhances the quality of pastoral care within a year group, and who will work effectively with our students, providing an empathic and positive manner in supporting them. The successful candidate will ideally need to have a good pass in GCSE qualifications in English and maths and it is essential that they have experience of working with secondary age students.
Initially, this role will be assigned to the Breaking Barriers strand of the job description.
The pay band for the role is Scale 6 (scp 12 to 17), which is £22,183 to £24,491.
The hours of work for the role will be 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be required term time, plus five staff training days and 1 week in school holidays (40 weeks in total).
The actual salary for the role (inclusive of holiday pay) is £19,400.55 to £21,419.06 (under 5 years' service) or £19,655.82 to £21,700.89 (over 5 years' service).
