SEND LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

15 hours per week

Term Time

Fixed Term Contract

Scale 3 Points 4-5

Immediate start

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and caring person to support children in the Foundation Stage and KS1 with special educational needs. You should have:-

· A high standard of written and spoken English

· Excellent numeracy skills

· Knowledge of Early Years Framework

· Understanding of Individual Targets and how to support children within a mainstream classroom

· Ability to work on own initiative

· Ability to follow plans from speech and language therapists

· Understanding of personal care.

· Previous experience of working with SEN children preferable
