School Improvement Lead - Attain Academy Partnership (L8-21)

Are you an outstanding practitioner with a vision for inspirational educational provision?

Do you believe that every child has unlimited potential?

Attain Academy Partnership is a family of primary schools who works as a team to provide an outstanding education for all children in all schools, relevant to the world in which they live. We aim to develop:

• Ambitious, capable learners who are resilient and independent
• Enterprising, creative contributors who have a real love of learning
• Ethical, informed citizens who value differences and inclusivity
• Healthy, confident individuals who contribute to a mutually supportive environment

We're looking for an outstanding leader with the ability to inspire and motivate others on how improved practice on assessment, curriculum and continuing professional development (CPD) can deliver school improvement, better pupil outcomes and higher staff engagement and well-being. You will have an excellent understanding of the evidence base and latest thinking on assessment, curriculum design and CPD and how to translate this into practice in schools.

You will be a role model for CPD and a champion for the importance of effective assessment and curriculum practice. You will be driven by ensuring your work has an impact on the quality of education and pupil outcomes, and have experience in embedding frameworks for impact evaluations in schools. A track record of securing improved outcomes for those eligible for pupil premium and pupils with special educational needs and disability through your school improvement work is a given.

You will look forward to seizing responsibility and accountability for shaping, communicating and delivering the Trust's strategic priorities on shared assessment and curriculum practice, developing professional learning communities and CPD that impacts on performance and staff progression. You will have experience of delivering these using well-developed leadership and team-working skills.

This is a stimulating and rewarding opportunity to use your expertise to drive the strategic direction of the Trust, working closely with senior leaders and teachers, and to develop thinking, improve practice and demonstrate impact that should be shared inside and outside of the Trust.
A full list of responsibilities is detailed in the job description and person specification.
