We are looking for someone to join us to work in our school kitchen in the role of Assistant Cook. The working hours for the role are 10:00am to 2:00pm from Monday to Friday for 39 weeks of the year (term time including inset days.) The role involves:
· Supporting the preparation, cooking and service of food and beverages to the required standard and following agreed menu plans;
· Contributing to the maintenance of a safe and clean working environment;
· Deputising for the Catering Manager as required.
We are looking for someone with previous catering experience, and experience of working in a school would be ideal but is not essential. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, committed and friendly and in return we can offer you the chance to work in a friendly school with well-behaved children and enthusiastic staff.
