Following the successful promotion of our previous Deputy Head Teacher we are looking for an outstanding practitioner who is passionate about children and their learning. You will play a key role in further developing our school which embraces a caring culture and high standards of achievement.
Boreham Primary School is rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted. The school is a one form entry village school with approximately 220 pupils on roll; there are two Year 4 classes due to agreed larger numbers on intake.
We pride ourselves on being a 'Friendship School' - our main school rule is 'Hurt body, hurt feelings, tell a grown-up'. The school vision, 'Daring to aim high, scale new heights, spread our wings and fly far' and our seven school values are reflected through a whole school community working together, which is committed to enabling pupils to be happy and successful at Boreham.
The successful candidate will have:
· Proven experience in the classroom and middle management
· Excellent time management, organisation and inter-personal skills
· A good understanding of assessment for learning and behaviour management
· A passion for high quality inclusive teaching and learning

· Will work creatively and effectively with the Head Teacher, senior leadership team and governing body to drive school improvement
· Has made an excellent contribution in the learning and progress of pupils and who is able to use their skills and knowledge to develop colleagues in improving teaching and learning
· Possesses an unrelenting drive and genuine commitment to raise standards of achievement through the development of outstanding teaching and learning
