Are you a Health and Social Care Assessor? We're looking for you!

Harlow College have launched a portfolio of home learning courses to enable people to study and develop their skills remotely from home. We are looking for experienced assessors to support us with the increasing and growing demand for our home learning courses in the following L2 qualifications:

· Common Health Conditions

· Counselling Skills

· Customer Service for Health and Social Care Settings

· Falls Prevention Awareness

· Principles of Care Planning

· Principles of Dementia Care

· Principles of End of Life Care

· Principles of the Prevention and Control of Infection

· Understanding Adverse Childhood Experiences

· Understanding Cancer Support

· Understanding Care & Management of Diabetes

· Understanding Common Childhood Illnesses

· Understanding Dignity and Safeguarding in Adult Health and Social Care

· Understanding Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace

· Understanding Personal Care Needs

· Understanding the Safe Handling of Medication in Health and Social Care

· Understanding Technology Enabled Care

· Understanding Tenant Support in Social Housing

· Working with People with Mental Health Needs

· Understanding Workplace Violence and Harassment

To apply for this position, you will need to hold a relevant assessing and/or IQA qualification and have relevant and up to date subject specialist knowledge and ideally have previous experience in assessing qualifications via home learning.

Above all, you must have the drive, motivation and passion to contribute positively to this very exciting initiative and to help our learners achieve their full potential.
