We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, dedicated and capable LSA to work 1:1 with a child with physical and learning needs. The post will be on a fixed term contract, 30 hours per weeek, term time only.
Experience of working with pupils, including physical and sensory needs, particularly those with special educational needs would be beneficial.
You will need to be:
Calm, positive and patient
Consistent and approachable
Able to work on your own initiative but also within a team
Able to listen to and take guidance from colleagues, specialist teacher and other professionals
Able to build positive relationships with the pupil and their families
The role will include helping to organise resources and working with class teacher and other LSA's to plan and co-ordinate work.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Due to the current situation these will need to be at the end of the school day or via TEAMS.
