The Boswells School is looking to appoint an outstanding Head of Social Sciences that specialises in delivering A Level Law. Alongside delivering high quality Law lessons the successful candidate will be able and willing to teach another Social Science subject at A Level.

Our results at A Level are consistently outstanding with departments regularly achieving examination results well above the National Average over the past 20 years. The Social Sciences at Boswells regularly secure ALPs 2 and 3 scores with many of our students continuing on to read these subjects at university and pursue careers in related fields. Our nationally assessed 2019 results placed Law at 95% A*- C with 75% of these students achieving A*-B grades, Psychology 85% A*-C and Sociology at 85% A*-C. All of the Social Science subjects at Key Stage 5 are extremely popular and our Law Department, which has been sponsored by Tees Law, were finalists in the 2020 National Mock Bar Trial.

You will be joining a school with enthusiastic and dedicated leaders at senior and middle leadership levels and a commitment to the professional development and well-being of staff.
