We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, dedicated and capable LSA to work 1:1 with a childwith physical and learningneeds. The post will be on a fixed term contract, however could lead to a permanent contract for 2021/22. Experience of working with pupils, including physical and sensory needs, particularly those with speacial educational needs would be beneficial.
You will need to be:
Calm, positive and patient
Consistent and approachable, setting firm boundaries
Able to work on your own initiative but also within a team
Able to listen to and take guidance from colleagues, specialist teacher and other professionals
Able to build positive relationships with the children and their families
The role will include helping to organise resources and working withInclusion Leader, teacher &other LSA to plan & co-ordinate work.
Manual handling training will be given to the successful candidate
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Due to the current situation these will need to be at the end of the school day. Please contact Jane Fisher Office Manager for further details or to arrange a visit.
