SCIENCE TECHNICIAN

New NJC Grade 5
28 hours per week (4 working days), Term-time only
Actual starting salary: £14,535 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Science Technician to join our successful and thriving Academy.
The role will be mainly based in the science department, where you will support students in accessing and maximising the facilities and resources available. Duties will include the preparation of equipment and chemicals for practical lessons, as well as supporting in the classroom when required.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and approachable with a "can-do" attitude and the ability to demonstrate a keen eye for detail. Previous experience of working with children and young people, particularly in an educational setting, would be an advantage.
