£70,204.00 - £81,124.00 actual salary depending on experience

Little Thurrock is a three-form primary school with a nursery and is a member of the Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. All schools in the Trust work in equal partnership and are members of the Schools' Co-operative Society. We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record of school improvement; ensuring that the school securely offers all children a good quality of education and who shares our vision for the "pursuit of excellence for all".

Osborne's Co-operative Academy Trust is looking to appoint a Headteacher who:

  • Has the motivation and ability to lead, nurture and inspire with enthusiasm, the development of a high quality of education enabling all children to strive for excellence
  • Has a commitment and reliability to engage fully with the school community and to lead with integrity; ensuring that the Co-operative values are upheld
  • Ensuring that all those within the school community have the highest expectations and aspirations for the learning, achievement and behaviour of all children
  • Can demonstrate skills in strategic thinking, leading to effective planning and successful implementation
  • Has a clear understanding of the inter-relationship of all phases of a child's education and a shared vision to develop cross-phase learning.
  • Is creative and proactive in responding to changing circumstances and new ideas
