Part-time SENCO 2.5 days per week. Required April 2021
We are seeking to appoint a SENCO with a passion for learning, commitment to raising attainment and the ability to demonstrate excellent leadership skills to join our positive, friendly team. Candidates may have additional specialist SEN qualifications, such as the National Award for SEN co-ordination, this is desirable not essential.
We are looking for someone who can lead this area of our work with kindness, warmth and dynamism, but also with total clarity, relentless consistency and a refusal to accept anything other than the very highest possible standards for some of our most vulnerable pupils.
The successful candidate will play a major role under the overall direction of the Headteacher and will be empowered to improve process and practice in Inclusion and SEND.
You will be:
· Experienced in the primary phase
· A strong team member who works well with other staff and members of the school community
· Someone who believes in learning without limits and that every child can succeed
· Someone who can deal with a range of professionals and stakeholders and be able to resolve conflict to get the very best for our pupils
· Well organised and able to prioritise

Information about the School
Braiswick Primary is the third school of the Learning Pathways Academy Trust which also includes Lyons Hall Primary in Braintree and White Hall Academy in Clacton-On-Sea.
