Midday Assistant

Job Description

Leverton Primary School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic person to join our existing lunchtime team as an MDA for 1 hour per day, 5 days per week. Our staff and children are friendly and welcoming and you would be joining a strong team of MDAs.

Key responsibilities for this post include:

· Securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of the pupils during the lunchtime break

· Supervision of pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises

Successful candidates will need to be:

· enthusiastic and caring individuals

· calm, flexible team players who are able to work on their own initiative

· enthusiastic about the children's individual talents and needs

Ideally we are looking for someone with experience of working with primary aged children.

Leverton Primary School is a Good School (Ofsted June 2019) and is a two form entry school, situated in Waltham Abbey, Essex.
