Our warm and welcoming village school is seeking to recruit a Midday Assistant to support our Reception Class at lunchtime
The role will be to supervise and assist children at lunchtime. Maintaining the safety and welfare of the children in the dining hall whilst eating lunch and throughout their playtime, including wet play breaks in class with an additional 15 minutes of classroom support.
Fixed term, term time only from October 2020 to March 2021
LGS Scale 2 to Point 2-3 (Hourly Rate £9.43-9.62)
Monday to Friday 11.45 am to 1.00 pm
The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Initiative, decisiveness, and acute observation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility and a good sense of humour

Previous experience in this area of work is desirable but not essential.
