Scale 6 £22,183 to £24,491 according to experience
37hrs per week 7.30am to 4pm (some split shift required by arrangement)
Commencing Monday 16th November if possible
We are seeking to recruit a new Site Manager to join our positive, solutions focussed team.
Braiswick Primary School opened in September 2015 as part of the Learning Pathways Academy Trust and the building has been built to a high technical specification.
The successful candidate will be flexible in their approach, self-motivated, energetic and keen to work as part of the school community.
General responsibilities will include:
Providing a safe and secure environment for pupils and staff
Ensuring that the management and maintenance of the school buildings and environment are effectively undertaken
Supporting the smooth running of traffic flow and parking around the school site
Liaising with local residents to ensure the school works in harmony with the local community
Ensuring full compliance of Health and Safety procedures - good knowledge of these essential
Undertaking repairs and DIY projects
Delegation of tasks as appropriate to other site staff or outside contractors, ensuring Health & Safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
Monitoring the performance of the cleaner in charge in the execution of their duties and their management of the cleaning team in ensuring a clean, tidy and well maintained school environment
Attendance of out of hours emergency call outs

Information about the School
Braiswick Primary is the third school of the Learning Pathways Academy Trust which also includes Lyons Hall Primary in Braintree and White Hall Academy in Clacton-On-Sea. Our school, alongside the other schools in the Trust, aims to inspire our children to achieve well, have very high aspirations and to be valuable, well-rounded and happy members of their community.
