Start Date: November 2020
Salary: Scale 3 (point 4-5)
Hours of work are 9am to 3:15pm (1/2 hour lunch break), 5 days per week, term time only.
St Joseph's Catholic Primary School are looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 2 aged child with additional needs.
We are looking for someone who:
Is a team player with a "can do" attitude
Understands how to support children with ASD
Has patience, resilience and a creative and flexible approach to helping children learn
Can work with closely with parents, staff and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for a child
Has an understanding of using visuals such as PECS or will be prepared to take on training
