For January 2021 we are looking to appoint a committed and innovative teacher of Mathematics. This post would suit both experienced colleagues and newly qualified entrants to the profession. Mathematics is taught all the way through to A level and the new Core Maths is also proving to be popular with two groups running for the current Year 12s'.
Shoeburyness High School is a large, vibrant and diverse secondary school that has an excellent reputation as a warm and supportive environment in which to work. We are a very popular school with families in the local area and beyond and consequently we are heavily oversubscribed.

Shoeburyness High School is a very successful, large and oversubscribed 11-18 Community Academy and a member of the Southend East Community Academy Trust (SECAT).
First and foremost we are a place of learning and high aspiration but we add value to this core purpose with our focus on developing the whole individual; there is something for everyone at Shoeburyness High School and we remain very proud of our fully inclusive ethos.
