We are looking to appoint two Assistant Caretakers to join our busy Premises team in providingan efficient and effective caretaking service at this highly successful Sixth Form College.
Working full time 37 hours per week, or a part time job share arrangement would be considered.
The posts will cover two shifts, the morning shift being 5.30am until 2.00pm and the afternoon shift being 11.00am until 7.00pm. You will work for five days per week including alternate Saturdays worked on a rota basis. When not required on a Saturday your contracted hours will be re-allocated to be worked during the standard working week (subject to mutual agreement). There will also be occasional Sunday working by agreement.
The successful candidate(s) will be organised and flexible in their work, able to work alone or within a team and DIY skills would be useful. We require someone who is energetic, enthusiastic, reliable and dependable with an adaptable attitude to his or her work. Previous experience of a similar role would be an advantage although not essential. The successful candidate will be part of a small team and may be required to work some early or late shifts.
