REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE LUNCHTIME PLAY LEADERS
We are looking to appoint one or two new Play Leaders to join our fantastic team.
Typically hours could be between 11.30 a.m. to 1.55 p.m. to cover our staggered lunch breaks at present.
Play Leaders will spend their lunchtime supervising our children, ensuring they have a safe and fun playtime. You will be responsible for organising games and other activities to keep the children occupied and engaged throughout their time outside (or inside in the event of bad weather). You will support the effective operation of the team by demonstrating flexibility and co-operation.
This is a key role within school so the successful candidates must have a nurturing, positive attitude, be reliable and conscientious with a sense of fun, and be willing to promote the school's behaviour policy and social skills during the lunchtime period.
Ideally you must hold a qualified First Aid Certificate, but training will be provided for the right candidates and recent working with children would be preferable.
This is a Thurrock Band 2 post (Points 6 to 10) as applicable depending on qualifications and experience.

Short-listed applicants will be required to undertake a lunchtime observation session prior to shortlisting for interview.
Successful candidates will be notified of an interview date once shortlisting has taken place.
