REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE - BANK (NON CONTRACTED)
MID-DAY ASSISTANTS
From time to time we require BANK staff to cover absences at short notice.
Typically hours could be between 11.30 a.m. to 1.55 p.m. to cover our staggered lunch breaks at present.
We are looking to appoint relief/bank Midday Assistants to join our friendly and busy team during the lunchtime period to help supervise the children within the dining halls whilst eating lunch and throughout their playtime, including wet play breaks in class.
This is a key role within school so the successful candidates must have a nurturing, positive attitude, be reliable and conscientious with a sense of fun, and be willing to promote the school's behaviour policy and social skills during the lunchtime period.
Ideally you must hold a qualified First Aid Certificate, but training will be provided for the right candidates and recent working with children would be preferable.
This is a Thurrock Band 2 post (Points 6 to 10) as applicable depending on qualifications and experience.

Short-listed applicants will be required to undertake a lunchtime observation session prior to shortlisting for interview.
Successful candidates will be notified of an interview date once shortlisting has taken place.
