Whitmore Primary School and Nursery has an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager to join the team.
The position is for 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The hours will be 7 to 7 ½ per day, some days may involve a split shift. The hours will be organised with the Headteacher and Estates Manager on a weekly basis.
Salary Scale 5 (Band 3). Actual salary £21119 (includes paid annual leave which must be taken during closure periods).

The successful applicant will be expected to:
· carry out a range of building maintenance, first line repairs and DIY duties, ensuring our buildings and grounds are secure and well maintained with a high standard of appearance
· be responsible for unlocking the premises and supervising the gate at the start/end of the school day
· carry out and record statutory checks and maintain Health and Safety records
· liaise with contractors and monitor their work whilst on the school site
· work well as part of a team and has a commitment to improving and developing their own practice
