1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant (Year 5 pupil)
Part time - 19 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary: LSA Band 2 (11-14)

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our team and provide one to one support.
The successful candidate will need to hold at least NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualifications, have had experience of working with children with moderate learning needs and of leading small group interventions.
The successful Candidate will be:
- Resilient and positive, showing initiative and flexibility
- Able to work as part of a team under the direction of the class teacher and to work closely with other professionals involved.
- Confident in supporting a child with accessing KS2.
- Approachable, patient and understanding
- Have a good sense of humour
- Experienced in delivering evidence-based interventions

Information about the School
Plumberow Primary Academy is a very large 3 form Academy with approximately 650 pupils on roll. We have facilities that we are proud of, including two halls, a spacious ICT suite, a large field, a designated cooking room, a well maintained library and an outdoor swimming pool. Teaching areas are both safe and well maintained, providing a stimulating working environment for the pupils.
We aim to provide a happy, safe, and caring community, where everyone is encouraged and supported to achieve their goals.
The teachers and support staff form a very strong team and work closely with the Governing Body and Academies Enterprise Trust to promote high standards throughout Plumberow. Parental involvement is largely encouraged through a well established induction policy for new entrants and an open door policy. A large number of parents provide invaluable voluntary support in classes throughout the academy and there is a well established PTA, which provides a programme of fundraising activities throughout the year.
The academy teaches a broad and balanced curriculum which is enriched by a wide range of extra curricular activities. There is a very strong emphasis on sport and music within the academy and academy teams compete very successfully in a wide range of inter-school sports activities.
