37 hours per week - 39 weeks per year (term time + 1 week Inset)
Scale 3 Points 4-5 Actual Salary £15,655 - £15,968 per annum (FTE £18,426 - £18,795 per annum)
We are looking to appoint an organised and enthusiastic individual to support our busy and friendly Design & Technology department. Located in the school's recently built East Block, our newly equipped Food and Textiles areas provide a clean, light and spacious working environment.
Responsibilities will include preparing all food and ingredients for lessons, working alongside the teachers to assist students during lessons and ensuring classrooms and equipment are kept clean and tidy. Health and Safety procedures must be followed at all times.
The successful candidate should be able to evidence good practical skills as well as a good level of literacy and numeracy. Previous experience of working with children aged 11-18 would be an advantage. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with pupils is essential.
