HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT
Leigh North Street Primary School is looking for a dedicated and innovative HLTA, who is highly motivated and committed to achieving the best for every child. Experience of working with children and educated to a level 4 in supporting Teaching & Learning is essential.
As an HLTA, you will be expected to support pupils across the school, years Rec - Yr6 and be prepared to cover classes across a range of subjects where required. *Full job description attached
Due to the current climate, interviews will be held via 'Zoom'. As we will be unable to observeyour interaction with our pupils, this will be a fixed term contract until 31.08.2021.
The ideal candidate will:
Ø be able to foster positive relationships with children and colleagues
Ø be able to make learning fun and engaging
Ø be keen to develop a child's independence and self-help skills
Ø be well organised and efficient
Ø be able to follow direction but must be pro-active and use own initiative
Ø have a good standard of English and Mathematics (preferably GCSE Grade C or above)
Ø Committed to pupil outcomes
Ø Understand and adopt our ASPIRE values
