South Essex Alliance Multi-Academy Trust Finance and Business Director.

The South Essex Alliance Multi-Academy Trust prioritises International Education, Learner First Education and UNICEF's Rights of the Child to ensure every child gains the education they deserve.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative finance and business director to join our leadership team capable of developing financial systems and reporting structures to unify budget spend across our schools and generate funds to invest in our curriculum to ensure every penny meets our ambitions for children.

This post is a two year fixed term contract with the possibility to extend.

The successful applicant will:

Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Be used to operating at a senior level.

Have appropriate professional financial qualifications and experience of project management.

Have experience of managing premises related projects such as Health and Safety, Condition Improvement Fund bids, and generating income through site hire.

Have experience of introducing financial monitoring and auditing procedures for reporting to LSBs and Trustees who are accountable for the Trust.

Be familiar with or be prepared to train for the audit process, dealing with auditors and making all of the appropriate returns to the Education and Skills Funding Agency is also necessary.
