Open Box Education Centre is looking for an exceptional School Business Manager to support the work of this small, unique and successful specialist Alternative Provision Independent School. Our small team of 12 dedicated, caring and professional trauma-informed staff members provides full-time KS4 education and therapeutic services for up to 16 students aged 14-16 years, to help them grow in confidence, trust and self-esteem and experience success in their last years of secondary school. Our students are at the heart of everything we do: our fantastic staff team and our small, vibrant premises are what enable us to provide a nurturing and healing experience for our students.

We are looking for a School Business Managerwhowants to make a difference to the lives of young people,who cares for our studentsandis passionate aboutthepower andpotential of well-managed spaces, resourcesandsystems to transform lives and experiences;we needsomeone whois prepared to be a part of school life to ensure thatthe team and the premises are well supported.

We are a small school and this is a significant and diverse role that includes the responsibility for:

• Strategic planning and business management
• All financial, payroll and HR management for the school
• The health & safety and compliance of the school, including data protection
• The day-to-day site management and care of our small, bespoke learning environment
