School Cleaner

Fixed term contract for 12 months to support additional hygeine measures

43 weeks per year - term time plus 5 non-pupil days plus 4 weeks school closure
10 hours per week (2 hours daily)
Hours to be discussed, preferably late afternoon

£9.31 per hour including outer fringe (FTE £17,364 + £609) or the national minimum wage if under 21
Actual salary £4546 PA or the national minimum wage if under 21


We are seeking a cleaner for our friendly Junior school. The duties will include:

  • Cleaning classrooms and communal areas such as corridors, toilets and the staff room
  • Emptying bins
  • Replenishing stock
