Breakfast Club Assistant

At: Little Thurrock Primary School, Rectory Road, Grays, Essex RM17 5SW

Required: September 2020 Pay Scale: Band A Point 1 - 6 (£2,639.28 - £2,913.59, actual salary depending on experience)

Working Hours: 7:15AM - 8:30AM Monday - Friday, term time only

We are looking to appoint a hardworking and enthusiastic breakfast club assistant to support our expanding wrap around before school club at Little Thurrock Primary School, which is a member of The Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust.

Our schools' ethos is based on the Co-operative values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and sharing a sense of collective responsibility for supporting each other.

Duties include:

  • Ensure that pupils work/play together in a structured and secure environment.
  • To ensure the care of pupils who are injured or unwell.
  • Giving comfort to distressed pupils.
  • To uphold the School's Behaviour Policy, including treating pupils with respect and consideration.
  • To supervise physical activities for pupils in playground/field areas
  • Ensure a smooth and timely end to the club and supervise the safe exit of pupils from the site or to class.
