*Maternity Cover - to start September 2020*
Working Hours: 33 hours and 45 minutes p/w, term time, plus five non-pupil days (39 working weeks)
Salary: Band 3, Points 6-11 (depending on experience) / Actual Annual Salary: £14,857.63 - £16,403.33 (depending on experience)
Kents Hill Junior School is seeking to appoint a highly dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant on a fixed term basis from September 2020 to cover maternity leave.
As a HLTA you will cover PPA time for Years 3 and 4, but may also be required to work alongside teachers at other times to support pupil's learning.
You will have experience in a similar role and hold the relevant HLTA qualifications with the ability to be able to support teachers and use your own initiative when needed. You will successfully be able to develop strong relationships with children and manage behaviour effectively when called upon.
Kents Hill Junior School is located in Benfleet, Essex and is part of the Epsilon Star Multi Academy Trust; founded in September 2016. It is also joined by Lubbins Park Primary Academy and Nursery which is also located in Essex.
