We are seeking to appoint a higher-level teaching assistant to work with students who have additional SEN needs such as Autism, ADHD and SEMH barriers.
Working 30 hours per week term time 8.45am to 2.45pm. Starting salary £20,091 pro rata (£15,068 actual)for a 2 year fixed contract with the possibility of extension.
The candidate would need to be able to evidence their experience working with students with autism, and it would also be desirable if they have experience leading 1:1 and small group interventions. Our school is a small alternative provision whose students have a high proportion of SEMH needs. Our students are more suited to our small environment with small class sizes and higher adult/student ratio than a larger mainstream school.
