Trust Finance Manager
37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Scale 8 points 25-28 £28,785 - £31,371
Required 1st September 2020
This is a great opportunity for an individual who has a strong background in Finance to work with the Chief Financial Officer in developing the central finance team within the Trust.
We are looking for a professional who is highly motivated with excellent inter-personal and organisational skills.
The role includes:
· Day to day management and operation of all financial systems (Sims Finance)
· Work in conjunction with the Trust Chief Financial Officer
· Overseeing of payroll and payroll reconciliations
· Month and Year end procedures
· Management of the Trust schools trading accounts
· Line management of Trust central finance team
· Working closely with the Trust Leadership team
We are looking for someone that:
· Is willing to work collaboratively with others and work autonomously
· Has the ability to manage a small office team
· Proven knowledge and experience of financial management
· Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in presenting financial information
· Is keen to work in a Multi Academy Trust.

Our trust covers infant schools, junior schools, primary schools, secondary schools and an all through school. There are over 5000 pupils in our schools and the trust employs over 570 staff. The Chelmsford Learning Partnership (CLP) is an emerging multi-academy trust based in Springfield, Chelmsford. The trust was formerly known as The Boswells Academy Trust but changed name in late 2017 to reflect the growth of the trust beyond one school. There are currently 8 schools across Essex in the CLP multi academy trust.
The schools in the CLP are: Barnes Farm Infant School, Barnes Farm Junior School, Lakelands Primary School, Perryfields Infant School, Roding Valley High School, The Beaulieu Park School, The Boswells School and The Tyrrells Primary School.
