Salary LGS Scale 5 point 8 - 11 (New 2020 Scales)
(£14,582 - £15,475 actual including 5.2 weeks holiday pay)
Term time plus one INSET day (38.2 weeks). 32.5 hours per week.
Westcliff High School for Girls was designated in April 2012 as the lead school for South Essex Teaching School Alliance (SETSA). Its purpose is to support local schools. In 2014 it became the lead school for the Southend, Essex and Thurrock Science Learning Partnership and in September 2019 it became the lead school for the London and Essex Computing Hub
You will be a key part of the SETSA team and have a clear responsibility for ensuring all the work of the Computing Hub is completed to a high standard. We work collaboratively with schools across a large part of Essex, Thurrock, NE London and Southend. We provide teacher training and support for schools and teachers across the region. The work is challenging, interesting, diverse and ever changing.
Required start in September 2020; a committed individual to provide efficient and professional support to the Director of the Teaching School as part of the SETSA administration team with responsibility for the Computing Hub.
