Assistant Caretaker
Salary and range: Thurrock Band B, £14,275.15 - £15,755.76 (actual salary)
Working hours: 30 hours per week, 07:00am - 10:00am & 14:30pm - 17:30pm Monday - Friday
44.8 weeks per year. Term time plus inset days.
(Two week October half term)
Start date: September 2020
We have an exciting opportunity for an assistant caretakerto join our new school. Thames Park Secondary School is a brand new free school that will be opening in Grays, Essex in September 2020, initially year 7 intake only increasing to 5 year groups within 5 years. Thames Park Secondary School will be a member of Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. All schools in the Trust work in equal partnership and are members of the Schools' Co-operative Society.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, pro-active and hard working person to join our school as part of the site team and contribute to the safety, appearance and upkeep of the school. The successful candidate will be involved in general caretaking duties including cleaning, maintenance and security of the site.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain a working knowledge of the locations of various buildings, departments, access routes and admitting/exiting requirements. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual who sets high standards, values teamwork and wants to be part of a whole school team.
