Midday Assistant Supervisor
Salary and range: Thurrock Band B, £3,488.50 - £3,850.32 (actual salary)
Working hours: 7.5 hours per week, 12:00pm - 13:30pm Monday - Friday
43.8 weeks per year, term time only.
(Two week October half term)
Start date: September 2020
We have an exciting opportunity for aMDA Supervisorto join our new school. Thames Park Secondary School is a brand new free school that will be opening in Grays, Essex in September 2020, initially year 7 intake only increasing to 5 year groups within 5 years. Thames Park Secondary School will be a member of Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. All schools in the Trust work in equal partnership and are members of the Schools' Co-operative Society.
We require a Midday Supervisor to lead and inspire a team of Midday Assistants at Thames Park Secondary School. To organise rota's and training, and supervise pupils during the midday break whilst implementing the School Lunchtime and Behaviour policies.
You will be working alongside our team of Midday staff caring for and assisting children during the lunchtime break.
Your duties will include:
- Organising and managing a rota of staff and activities
- Arranging cover for absent Midday Assistants, and ensuring the behaviour policy is adhered to consistently across the team
- Ensuring children are supported and treated fairly
The work can be demanding but can also be very rewarding.
