Job Description

We are seeking to appoint from October, an enthusiastic and self-motivated School Business Manager to play a key role in the leadership and administration of our happy and successful school.This is a part time role with 23 hours per week.

Successful candidates will have:

A suitable qualification in School Business Management/ Accountancy or be prepared to complete accreditation;

Experience of working as a Business Manager in a school setting;
Leadership and management experience of areas including finance,personnel and health and safety;
Experience of premises and facilities management;
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present both written and verbal information to the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team and Governors;
The ability to effectively manage, report and record the school's finances;
The ability to use existing resources to overcome challenges and create new and effective solutions;
A genuine desire to be immersed fully in the life of our school and to work as part of our forward-thinking team of professionals.

An additional opportunity of working across Robus Multi Academy Trust (co-ordinating budgets,finances, and audits) could be available to a candidate with the necessary skills and experience to take on this role. This would add a further 7 hoursper week, to the position and enhanced remuneration.
