St Nicholas C of E Primary School is a small village school situated in a very attractive part of Essex. The school presently has 160 pupils in straight year groups in Key Stage 1 and mixed year classes in Key Stage 2. The school has recently expanded and is currently rated by Ofsted as Good. We are looking for an excellent class teacher to join our teaching staff from September 2020 until July 2021. Our aim is to create a welcoming and supportive ethos for both staff and pupils. Applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs are welcomed.

We are looking for someone who:

- has a passion for developing children's learning, is forward thinking and open to new ideas.

- has high expectations both of themselves and the children in their care.

- is committed to becoming part of a friendly and supportive team.

- is hard working, conscientious and resilient.

- is able to motivate and support pupils at all levels, demonstrating a commitment to inclusion and high standards for all.

- has an open minded, flexible and creative approach to teaching.

- will support and contribute to the Christian ethos of our school.

We value our staff and we will ensure that the successful candidate will receive high quality professional development. As a school belonging to the Vine School Trust, you will have the opportunity to work with colleagues who teach in other local schools in the trust.

Ideally we would like to appoint a Key Stage 1 practitioner or someone who would like to develop their experience in this Key Stage. Interviews will need to take place via a video conference. Before the interview, we would like candidates to supply us with supporting documentation electronically.

Visits to our school are normally warmly welcomed, but in the current climate, this is not possible therefore we would highly recommend potential candidates have a look at our website: https://www.st-nicholas-pri.essex.sch.uk

Please contact Robert Pike for further details (01621 779263 or admin@st-nicholas-pri.essex.sch.uk).
